The Student's Responsibility
1. It is essential that when girls are absent from class at a music/speech lesson they catch up on any missed work.
2. Girls are expected to attend all lessons, practise regularly and make progress. They are also required to take part in group activities and concerts as their tutor advises as part of their training.
3. Girls need to communicate with their tutors if they are going to miss a lesson for any reason. Lesson times may be able to be rearranged if sufficient notice is given. Missed lessons without notice will be chargeable.
3. Girls will be given details regarding their lesson times so they can put them in their diaries. Because of this commitment, and because regular class lessons are missed for music/speech lessons, no Middle school girl should study more than two disciplines (including speech and drama) which involves loss of school time. For Junior school no more than two lessons per week may involve loss of school time. The College reserves the right to cancel lessons if the above responsibilities are not fulfilled.
