A major production is held annually in conjunction with Scots College for the students in the Middle or Senior School. In 2017 QMC produced a highly successful Beauty and the Beast.
This year Scots College will be staging Shrek the Musical. Shrek leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. This hilarious comedy is part romance, part comedy and is one mucked up fairy tale.
This is a musical in the true sense of the word so you will need to enjoy singing and moving, either in a group or on your own. Queen Margaret girls are invited to audition.
The musical has lead roles, cameo roles involved in a number of scenes and an ensemble fairytale cast. We also need two chorus groups. Click here to see a full list of audition roles
Audition enrolments are invited from students in Years 7 – 13. Our cast of 60 will all act, sing and dance. No previous experience is required BUT we’re looking for talent, potential, enthusiasm, team-work and commitment.
Auditions take place on Sunday 11 February 10am, Scots College Assembly Hall. To audition the enrolment form MUST be completed and emailed to Claire Hall firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 8 February. No form, no audition.
